Please ensure you have read and understand our conditions and policies for booking and staying at Sandy Feet Retreat 118 Millendreath. When making a booking you agree to these policies. If you have any concerns or queries, please contact us so we can clear them up.
1. Reservation, Arrival & Departure Policy
1.1. All reservations must be 7 nights in duration, starting on Friday with check-in between 3:00pm and 10pm on the day of arrival. Please note: a £10 charge will be incurred for arrival outside those times.
1.2. A reservation is classified as confirmed when a deposit of 25% is paid. The remaining amount is due no later than six weeks before arrival date. If a reservation is made within six weeks of arrival, then full payment of the entire holiday cost is required.
1.3. Checkout time is 9:00 on the Friday of departure. It is essential that the property is vacated by that time so that the necessary servicing, required under COVID-19 regulations, can be carried out for the next arriving guests.
1.4. A security deposit of £100 is required at the beginning of the stay and returned upon departure once the villa has been checked and there are no damages. If damages exceed the deposit amount the difference will be due from the guest/s. If the villa requires excessive cleaning a fee of £50 will be deducted from the security deposit.
1.5. If COVID-19 restrictions lawfully prevent you from travelling from within the UK or travelling to the UK from overseas without a lengthy quarantine period, we will attempt to rearrange your holiday dates, or offer the choice of a refund. Proof of address will be required if a claim is made in such circumstances.
2.1. 100% of fees paid will be refunded if cancellation takes place within 24 hours of booking, providing more than 60 days before the arrival date.
2.2. 50% of the total cost will be refunded provided notification exceeds 4 weeks before arrival date.
2.3. 25% of the total cost will be refunded provided notification exceeds 2 weeks before arrival date.
2.4. 0% of the total cost will be refunded if notification is less than 2 weeks before arrival date.
2.5. In the event of non-arrival on the reserved date, your accommodation will be held for 36 hours. After that time your booking will be classified as a no-show and therefore cancelled by you. Under such circumstances payments will not be refunded.
3. House Rules
3.1. Electricity is paid by a rechargeable key card meter. The first £10 is included in the holiday cost.
3.2. No more than 4 adults can stay at any one time. We allow 2 adults and a maximum of 2 children under 16 at any one time. No unaccompanied under 18s at any time.
3.3. No stag or hen parties accepted.
3.4. No smoking in the villa, although smoking is allowed on the terrace. Ashtrays provided must be used.
3.5. No parties or loud music
3.6. No bicycles or leisure equipment can be left on the terrace. There is a storage area available at the side of the villa.
3.7. Towels and/or washing must be hung to dry on the washing line provided on the terrace area.
3.8. Under COVID advice you must bring your bed linen and towels. Quilts and pillows are provided.
3.9. A concessionary parking rate of £5 per week is available. Details on how to obtain that will be provided with booking confirmation. Please note: you can park at the bottom of the steps to the villa for 30 mins to unload and load or arrival and departure.
